Yeah or Nay?

When I was in high school, my aunt got me an Anya Hindmarch purse/bag for my birthday. Although I couldn't appreciate it in its entirety at the time, I loved it. The fine cloth of the purse reflected a scene--a vintage picture of some synchronized water skiers in their old fashioned one piece suits with ruffles.

Over the years, I've noticed the simple logo listed below. I've delved a bit deeper and learned of their "Be A Bag" option. Basically, a personalized photo can be reflected on the purse. Except its different than an original 'picture purse.' But same concept.

Some might think tacky, which I can respect. I've had the same thought on a similar look before. But not for this. I adore it... But how do you go about selecting a pic?

I'd use a dated pic of my mom in her spunky college days. In large part, it would be a pic of myself. Or a wedding candid... Or a pic of our 'one day to be newborn' and a particular feature that stands out to me. I wonder what feature...

But I have a lot of time to think it through. Simply said, "we can't afford it" right now.

Meanwhile I'll be looking for the perfect picture.

This will help you get an idea. It is the style of the baby bag. Take a look at the site and see the many different options of bags--makeup bags, clutches, totes, est. Then visualize away. It's a thin lightweight bag with great lining. And the petite leather straps--perfect.
