Pleasant surprise...

Today I had a package awaiting from my new sister. She sent a kind thank you note along with a similar necklace to the very one she wore in her engagements. So keen to remember how much I loved it and adored it on her. What a doll!  It's now the sister's necklace.

You and your sisters should get one too. She found it on this etsy shop by newfashionwhispers.

Engagements by Kylie.

Blueberry Pie...

I've never cared much for pie of any kind but especially the fruity ones. I prefer fruit in its original form.
But I had a piece of Blueberry Pie the other day that tasted as good as this looks.

Lake Winnipesaukee...

Courtney's family was so kind to let me stay the week following the wedding. I had quite the time observing some incredible mom's at work. There's 19 grand kids total and they get along so well.

Sydney and Thomas were born 3 months apart.

Rope swing of all rope swings. It has to be over 50 feet if you fall from the peak. I did it once and couldn't feel my feet for a while. Now that I know better, I let it slow down after a couple swings.

I love her so much.

The Moses basket is such a hit.

I promised my dad I'd always wear a helmet if I rode one of those things.
Please note I'm twice Courtney's size--literally.

250 feet down for real--
After the wedding about 15 people put on their suits to ride down it. It must of been 1:00 AM.

Love them both

Compare the pic on the right to this one. Time flies.

Headed for ice cream in town. Syd is so easy, it's not fair.

Mr. & Mrs. J Pratt...

This day has been in the works for a long time. These two are equally lucky to have each other as both have so many outstanding qualities. I got to know Shannon a bit better when we worked together. And J, is my bf's brother.

My favorite detail of the dinner was the blue Cadbury mini eggs in a petite nest for each place setting.  My favorite Easter candy in July--

Andrew, Christian, Mason, Spencer,  & Joe

I wish I had more pics of the bride. I didn't bring my camera so I lifted most of the pics from here or here.

The band was absolutely amazing.

Court's parents are so much fun. Brent was the first on the floor with no hesitation.

J and Shannon went away in a boat that said "Just tied in the knot!" They actually made it by just tying different ropes together. It was so cute.
When they ran out to the boat, there were huge fireworks going off of the floating dock. Everyone was crowding with sparklers double fisted. And the best thing yet with a wedding run-out... There were about 50 huge lanterns that once lit, floated into the sky--similar to Tangled. Beautiful night. Beautiful couple. Such a treat to be there.

Catherine in Canada...

Anyone else crazy about this girl? This whole royalty thing is starting to get exciting again.

I should probably add that I got all these pics from this site. Although I wish I could say I took them

Quick fix...

I was wishing I had my camera and not just my phone. These pics just won't do it justice. Although I have said this many times before, this had to be one of the most beautiful weddings I've been too.

The table linens were gorgeous. They had intricate beadwork that I don't think I've every seen on table overlays. Loved it.
I believe this had a red velvet center... my personal favorite.

Mikal's entire wedding had such a cozy vintage feel to it.

The weekend was one day of all wedding and the next with all lounging.
