Radio City, Zarkana...

We recently hit the 1 year mark from when Andrew & I found out we were expecting. A very happy day to celebrate I'd say. & 1 year later, two 5-month olds. We celebrated at Radio City's Zarkana, Cirque Du Soleil. It was incredible. It's amazing what humans and freaks of nature can do.
Groupon was just doing 50% off tickets. Not sure if that deal is still going on.

Despite all the terrible food trucks lingering in this city, there are some treasures. The Halal Guys is one of them on 6th & 53rd. The Cafe Rio aluminum tray they dish up in along with surrounding customers caught my eye.  There are just a couple options but the chicken/rice platter was the greatest $6 of goodness I've tasted in a very long time. The perfectly cooked shredded chicken is incredible. My recommendation is to douse the white sauce, whatever it is. The line is usually 20+ people deep. But they are opened until 4 am--genius as they are located next to some of the banks. We went around 11 PM though and had a little wait.

Here's to the Halal Guys!
