7 months....

We're just a couple weeks away from from 8 months so I wanted to go ahead and post these. Quickest 7 months of my life.

Kelly & Michael Show...

It was Kelly Live the first time I attended, which was a few days prior delivering the twins. But it was just as much fun the 2nd time around to be there in the ABC studio with Heather.

Andy Murray won the US Open the day prior so he was the 1st special guest. I was thrilled with his appearance.

Kelley practically disappears when she stands sideways.

Interacting with the crowd in between the taping/airing...

Matthew Perry was the next one on the show. I'm embarrassed to say I didn't have a clue who he was prior.  I never got into Friends. But he was extremely comfortable in front of the camera. which was neat to see.

Olivia Wilde speaking about an upcoming movie she is in.

Thanks Heather for coming in town and giving reason to get tickets. & thanks Andrew for making it happen.

Heather's mom texted a pic of us on TV. Whew!

Humans of New York...

I found out about this site when a girl I knew from Utah that now lives in NYC was featured on this site with her husband.  Anyway, it's addictive to look at. It's interesting to see which people I've actually seen before in the city too.

I saw this character below sitting on the Lincoln Center fountain doing what lots of us were doing a couple weeks ago... watching fashion week peeps come and go. Except I don't think he was dressed up for fashion week; I think this is his daily look. I was just waiting for the PETA to show up and start yelling.

The following day I did see PETA doing their thing on the steps of Lincoln Center. How can you not sympathize with them after making eye-contact with this little girl?

Dylan's Candy Bar, Part II...

I'm always up for a trip to Dylans. Surprisingly no one in there this time, so I got my camera back out. Part 1 was here when the twins were just little pee-wees.

Cafe on the 2nd floor.

It was neat to see all the different celebrity candy pics. My two favorites right now--liked their candy pics too.

Deja vu to the M&M store.

5th & 57th(ish)...

Bridging the gap of 100 years.
1907 Plaza Hotel & 2011 Apple Store

Happy birthday, Berdorf Goodman

Bride Wars, anyone? Neat to see the grand ballroom at the Plaza. I'll have to remember to pop in on a weekend and maybe see it set up in full.

Sir, you're crazy.

The day my boys can run across this keyboard is coming too quickly.

Gold M&M's in Times Square...

I've walked by the M&M store 100 times, but finally stopped inside to see the golden M&M's. They seemed more yellow than gold to me. I was anticipating some gold flocking for all the hype they get. Loved the variety though.

Yankee Home-run, Liberty, and Taxi Cab mix. "Tourist, buy me!"

Isn't she a beauty?

Tourist in your own town...

Heather came all the way from California to visit recently. She did most everything this city has to offer touristically speaking and much more beyond the guide books recommendations. In the last 3 years, we've created good memories in Utah, California, Louisiana, and now NYC. Although the twins and I couldn't maintain her pace, it was neat to do a few things I haven't done before while living here.

I love showing people the park. I consider it my back yard and take great pride in it.

Strolling down 5th doesn't ever get old. Saw this sequins dress in a department window display from accross the street and loved it, but didn't think to even try to on until Heather urged me to do so. Went to the 3rd floor only to learn they were sold out. But found it later at the actual designers store in SOHO. Only 2 left in my size in the country. Will 1 make it until it goes 40% off in November? Most defiantly not, but I wish so...

Especially tender to the American Flag seen all over this city on 9/11.

Somewhere in Midtown.

I hope to eat there one day... Maybe next restaurant week.

Never heard of Kleinfeld or the TV show that takes place there. Thanks Heather for introducing me. It was a Monday so they were closed and of course no appointment. But walked up to the door at the right time so an employee let Heather in. Dreams came true...
