My brother and his wife's recent move to Houston was a great excuse to visit. My parents live one state over so they met us there for the weekend too.
Top Golf is incredibly innovative and fun. The sheer concept and design of this place is truly a masterpiece. I won't do it justice, but I'll try to describe... The user-friendly touch screen keeps score and displays exactly where your ball lands on the range. I guess each ball has a chip inside. There are a variety of games to choose from; we always chose the game that kept score like darts, the closer you hit to the flag the more points you get. Good thing there were a lot of flags in case of shank. The venue is a few stories tall. But it didn't mind that we were teeing off on the 3rd floor. We ordered a ton of wings that we devoured over golf and college basketball being displayed above us. Such a great night life ambiance too. We went on a Thursday night, but Kellee said that the wait on the weekend is 3+ hours.
Injectable doughnut fillings, oh my!
My dad wears his ESPN gear that Andrew gives him every time he is around us.
Every time someone swung, she cheered
The Houston Galleria was a childhood dream. The only thing I can equate it to is child's love for disney. I loved the Galleria--still do.
The Rodeo being advertised right above the ice-skating rink. We planned our weekend around these dates. More of that to come...
There is a hotel located in the Galleria (balcony of rooms above) as well as an amazing tennis complex. Charles is watching Kellee's tennis lesson.
Bubbles and Jordan's just don't go.
Neatest store-front LuLu Lemon. Yes, I take pictures at LLL's when they look like this.
and this! We managed to visit 3 different LLL in a couple days time.
Not far from the Galleria, Kellee works at this beauty... Anthropolgie's BHLDN.
Great having lunch with Laura, a friend from college, who I haven't seen for 4 years.
